Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. The quote comparison tool asks for gender, age, your health status, tobacco use, the death benefit amount, and the term length you want—those six facts alone are enough to generate rates from the carriers. Your name, address, and detailed health information are collected only if you choose to proceed to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
The prices shown are what each carrier quotes for the health class you selected in the questionnaire. Your actual final premium is determined by that carrier's underwriting when you apply, which may confirm, improve, or adjust your class. Nothing here is an insurance offer or price guarantee.
What happens when I click Apply?
You provide your name, and the system creates an application from the specific quote you picked, then hands it off to the carriers' platform for completion. You can save and come back, and you'll sign documents electronically. Susman Insurance Agency (California License 0B75129) is the licensed entity handling the submission.
Will I need a medical exam?
It depends on which carrier you apply with, how much coverage you chose, and what you answered on the health questions. Some carriers can make an immediate decision for eligible applicants without an exam; others might need one. Each quote tells you what that carrier requires.
Is a longer term better?
A term you choose should match the years when lost income would hurt most—while you have a mortgage, while children are at home, or while a business depends on you. Longer terms cost more month to month but lock your rate in longer. The tool lets you compare rates for 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quoting tool collects no email, phone, or address; we don't share or sell any visitor data; and our analytics use no cookies and honor Do Not Track. Visit the privacy page for the full accounting of what's collected and by whom.
